The best way to learn how to surf is to have lessons with a surf coach. It will save you a lot of time! You can learn the basics safely and be confident that you are learning the correct techniques rather than picking up bad habits.

Once you have learnt the basics the next stage is to hire a board and wetsuit so you can practice in your own time. Hiring is a great way to try out different types and styles of boards before you consider buying one.
